ODR SHELTER FOR CIVIL DEFENSE:
The need for civil defense stems from the Act of 5 December 2024 on the Protection of Civilians. The obligation to ensure an adequate number of first-line shelter places rests with territorial civil protection authorities, i.e., mayors, voivodeship heads, the Minister of Interior, and the voivodeship marshal.
Prefabricated ODR shelters for civil defense may be the answer to their needs. Designed and largely prepared in a factory, they allow for rapid implementation within the municipality. Despite being prefabricated, their interiors and dimensions can be tailored to individual needs.
The system consists of prefabricated L-shaped wall and floor elements, which allow for an increased shelter footprint. The ceiling will consist of prefabricated floor slabs, similar in design to filigree ceilings, additionally poured with concrete on site. The gable elements are separate prefabricated elements. These will vary depending on the building's location and will be adapted to suit needs, the number of occupants, and the depth of cover.
Shelters designed in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration regarding technical conditions for protective structures and technical conditions for their use and meeting the requirements for the resistance category of protective structures S-2.
